Bookmobile 75: Red Hook Interim Library Celebrates

Celebrate Bookmobile’s 75th anniversary on May 16 and all summer long! The Bookmobile will make eight stops throughout the borough to share library programming, entertainment, refreshments and more.  The Bookmobile in front of the Red Hook Interim Library will have free face painting, and all BPL cardholders can receive a free cookie or giveaway item, courtesy of our community partners.  Not a cardholder yet? You can sign up for a library card on-site to participate.  Join us in your neighborhood as we reflect on 75 years of service—and look ahead to many more. Special family programming includes: • Steel Pannist Patrick Davis at Lincoln Terrace Park • Bubbles the Clown at Mapleton Library • Singer Erin Lee at the Fort Hamilton Ave D Train Station • Arts & crafts at Fort Greene Park • Balloon artists at Linden Park & Gravesend Library • Face painting at Red Hook Interim Library & Gregory Jackson Center C
