Family Friendly Activities

Maple Street Community Garden will be participating in GreenThumb's annual Open Garden NYC festivities (on June 6th). The garden group will be collaborating with Green Guerillas youth interns who will lead workshops, engage visitors in family friendly arts activities and do a book talk\/discussion. Our community partner, Brooklyn Book Bodega, is donating books for the event. Brooklyn SolarWorks, who donated a solar panel and battery to the garden, will bring a small corps of volunteers to help out. All are welcome!
