Garden Workshop (2nd Grade - 5th Grade)

Join retired elementary school educator and urban gardener Leslie Mireille Fiske in hands-on, kid friendly gardening activities suitable for 2 nd  through 5 th  grade children.  The children will be exploring, observing, planting, harvesting and sampling a variety of herbs, flowers and vegetables through the spring into summer growing season. Activities will take place on the library’s roof-top demonstration garden.  This program is for children in 2nd-5th grade. Online registration is required.  Please note that the rooftop garden can get very hot and sunny. Please prepare accordingly. We recommend hats, sunscreen, and lots of water!
