Katie Yamasaki: Celebrating Community Caretaking

Please join Brooklyn author, illustrator, and muralist Katie Yamasaki for a talk about her latest book,  Ripples .   Ripples  is a nuanced, lyrical celebration of our connections to each other and the environment. With electric, eye–catching illustrations, Katie's latest picture book reminds us of the value of care and the ways we can perform it―for each other, and for the world around us.   This event is great for people of all ages, especially children 5 and up, although all are welcome.  Ripples , as well as Yamasaki’s other titles will be available for purchase onsite through Greenlight Bookstore.
