Make Your Own Name Mandala!
Mandalas are often used in psychology to create a central focus such as when someone is meditating. In Name Mandalas, students will create a colorful mandala vision using the letters and shapes of their name. They can fold the paper into triangles from the center and copy their name with the idea of creating an overall composition using special block or circle letters or any font and color that they can imagine! Repeating the design of the letters until it forms a mandala design that comes from the center of the page, the students will then color and finalize the design. Each student will have their very own personalized mandala to take home!
