New Canaan Nature Center Birds Of Prey

Encounter several raptor species (hawks, owls, etc.) up close with a New Canaan Nature Center naturalist, exploring their adaptations, behaviors, ecological importance, and natural history. Participants will touch and feel real raptor artifacts such as talons, skulls, and feathers. As an added bonus, meet a furry friend or two while discussing what makes these birds amazing hunters.
